
Laundry Sorting Stand Project/Class Wednesday, May 6th 6:30pm In this class you will build a useful laundry sorting stand. You will build a wood stand that holds three clothes baskets for sorting clothes before washing. This is a great entry level project for anyone wanting to learn some easy woodworking and you get a laundry sorter to take home. All the materials are provided. The cost is $60.
* Wood Lathe - Beginning Tues, May 12, 19 & 26, 6:30pm - 8:30pm You don't need any experience to take this class. You will learn about the parts of a wood lathe, how to operate and how to use the tools. You will complete three projects to take home, spindle, wooden pen, a segmented wood bowl. Adirondack Chair Tues, June 9, 16, 23, & 306:30-8:30pm Build a folding outdoor Adirondack Chair from treated wood. This is a good project to learn how to use saws, router, drill, lathe and other wood working equipment. Drawings and patterns will be used to cut the materials. All materials are provided. Beginner Woodworking Tues, Jul 7 & 146:30pm-8:30pm This is a great class for young woodworkers and an adult helper to make several simple wood projects over a two-night class. Students can choose to make a license plate birdhouse, pop can birdhouse, toolbox or bird feeder. They can make as many of these as they have time.
